Design Challenges / Mythical Creatures

The design is based off the Cŵn Annwn from Welsh mythology. The dogs were said to roam in packs on certain nights, and were typically seen as omens of death, or as escorts for the dead. It is said that the further they are from the listener, the louder their bark, whereas they are almost silent up close.

Originally I'd planned to have them in a hunting pack, but having multiple stylized dogs with realistic bodies just didn't look good to me.

I like the tribal side, in more the drawing is very well-kept!
I don't know the story of the dogs as a omen of death (but it make me think of the Harry Potter's character "the Sinistros", maybe J-K Rowling looked her inspiration here!)

ok, now I've found my absolute favorite

! You are the only one here who design something with the cŵn annwn (I guess it's because there are almost unknown)! I love the white, red eared, hounds of Annwn and all the myths around them. It's great how you create the dog in the celtic manner of illustration.
