Description
Unimposing in stature and distinguished only by golden eyes and large, crushing teeth, Sohl can easily pass for your average human splicer. He takes full advantage of this by wearing enchanted items to reinforce his human appearance.

Personality
Sohl is a gentle spirit and optimist who is quick to loyalty and believes that even the harshest individuals can be reasoned with. He prefers flight in the face of hostility, but is hard to drive off due to an eagerness for new experiences and an endless curiosity. 

Anxious to be accepted and included, Sohl favors whichever form he thinks will please the present company. As a human he tends to be more cautious, focusing on etiquette and maintaining appearances. As a seraph he often exhibits a freer side, being quick to play and eager for affection. In either form, he remains thoroughly himself.

Abilities
Shapeshift: While the seraph is his true form, Sohl can stay indefinitely as either. Transforming costs an enormous amount of energy, and he can only manage this once or twice a day.

Flight: In seraph form, Sohl is capable of limited flight. This ability is completely dependent on his trinket stone, which can only provide several minutes of lift at a time.

Warp: Sohl is capable of teleporting small distances. The ability has two prerequisites. Firstly, he must have visited the origin and destination before. More importantly, he must be able to remember both locations in reasonable detail. A strong overall impression may sometimes substitute for environmental detail. Excessive use of this ability results in pain and feverish symptoms. 

Background 
Raised on a far away preserve, Sohl grew up secure in the knowledge that nothing in the world would harm him. Under the watchful eye of his guardian, he hunted with the great beasts, studied with the nomads, and dreamed of the day he could follow in his parents' storied footsteps and seek adventure. Imprinting strongly on humans in the absence of his own kind, he set his sights on the human world and left as soon as he came of age. 

Adventure wasn't quite what he expected, and he emerged from his travels a little wiser and warier than before. The exhausted young seraph settled in Wathais to recuperate, and has taken to the city like a fish to water. Though he is often homesick for his childhood paradise and lonely for the friends he left behind, Sohl sees promise in this strange city: a chance for new adventures, new lessons, and - perhaps - a family.
